Adam + Mackenzie’s Intimate Elopement
It’s hard to believe that we’re coming up on 2 years since Adam + Mackenzie’s breathtaking elopement. But this still sticks out in my mind as one of the sweetest and most lovely events.
Originally, we had met pre-pandemic and Plan A had been to have a larger, more traditional wedding celebration. But as we all know, the pandemic changed a lot of plans, which is how we found ourselves in Adam + Mackenzie’s new home, installing flowers on their living room fire place.
Mackenzie had expressed a desire for a muted, Autumnal palette, with soft, romantic blooms, which we were more than happy to oblige. We finished off the draping, organic installation with unnecessarily tall taper candles, because there’s nothing more romantic. Her bouquet was minimal, sophisticated and petite, fitting an intimate elopement.
It’s so obvious, from the pictures captured by Meghan Savage, that this whole day was filled with tenderness, joy and beauty.
